Rwanda | Gisagara: Leaders urged to contribute towards achieving goals

The Member of Parliament Speciose Mukandutiye has urged all stake holders in Gisagara district to participate in implementing development targets that the area has set.

    Gisagara Leaders urged

Authorities in a meeting with residents

Goals are not always set for one person but for the whole district so that people can cooperate and work together for development but still these people need to be inspired and motivated by role models none other than their leaders.

Speciose Mukandutiye talking to leaders in Gisagara district asked all leaders to think of their contribution and assess the efforts used in playing their roles as leaders so that the set goals can be achieved.

She furthers that if all leaders are determined and willing to work hard, then all the set goals will be achieved at 100% and that is why they are asking all people to offer their contributions in achieving the districts target.

Grassroots’ Leaders said their security is at risk as they are normally threatened by drug dealers when handling such cases but police officials said that it should not be an excuse since police is always at their rescue.

Police officials accused village leaders of not helping them to track down drug dealers since they are the most appropriate people to be having information concerning drug dealers in their villages.

District authorities requested all leaders in the district to mind their responsibilities and how they should work to contribute towards the development of the district.
