    Ruhango District to participate in good governance evaluation

    Starting with June 2013, executive secretaries of the cells in every part of the country will be under evaluation.

    The evaluation will be about good governance and good service providers among Cell leaders and those who will fail the evaluation will be excluded in the budget plans of economic year 2013/2014.

    The Minister for Local Governments James Musoni says this evaluation will be done in the whole country. He warned the cells’ executive secretaries in Ruhango district during his visit on Friday the 3rd.May.2013 to polish their administrative ways if they want to pass the evaluation.

    “You are lucky to know this information before time…… those who will be found with different governance from what we expect will not join us in the realization of the next economic year plans that will start in July 2013.” Said Minister Musoni

    Local leaders will be thoroughly evaluated

    Minister Musoni explained that this resolution to evaluate cells executive secretaries after it was found some abuse their office and abuse people they lead and provide poor services among other things.

    This evaluation program will not only affect cells’ leaders but also the executive secretaries sectors with bad cells’ leaders. This is because cells’ leaders are under the jurisdiction of the sectors and should be monitored by the sectors.
