Executive secretaries from sectors and cells in a meeting

Cells’ Executive Secretaries have been warned over poor service delivery and were told that measures would be taken against them if they continue with recklessness leveled against many of them.

The warning was issued by Gakenke district Mayor Deogratius Nzamwita during the District committee meeting involving executive secretaries from cells and sectors on erly this week

Mayor Nzamwita said some of local leaders allegedly prefer taking beer to serving residents while others simply resort to arrogant behavior instead of listening and attend  to people’s problems

“Some of the local leaders are even accused of sexual misconduct which gives a wrong impression of the district leadership” said Nzamwita.

The mayor added that other executive secretaries embezzle funds from their offices which still affect the reputation of the leadership.

He warned that the district will hesitate to put in place legal measures to deal with such Executives who take their positions for granted; clarifying that service delivery improvement is their responsibility
