Ghana waive visa requirements for Rwandans
The republic of Ghana have waived visa requirements for Rwandans travelling to the western African country in order to allow them easier access to the country’s diverse offering.
In a statement addressed to Rwanda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation from the Ghanaian Consulate in Kigali said the Republic of Ghana “has waived the visa requirements for Rwandans travelling to Ghana”
The Consulate said the decision was being a reciprocal act.
The Consulate expressed its satisfaction to the Rwanda’s foreign policy effectiveness, and said was honored to grant Rwandan nationals to travel to Ghana free of Visas requirements.
The waiver of the fee requirements acts as the next step in consolidating and enriching the bilateral relations between the two countries.
This development comes at a time citizens of the three Partner States of the East African Community (EAC) are able to use their identity cards to travel to any of the three nations.
