    Good governance month winds up



    January was dedicated to good governance in Kirehe district. The last even was attended by the district mayor, head of finance and development and executives secretaries from the various sectors of the district.

    The mayor of Kirehe district Murayire Protais thanked all people who took part in activities to of the good governance month which was marked by sincere cooperation and collaboration between leaders and citizens.

    During the good governance week, leaders went down into villages to meet people in their sectors and cells to interact with them, learn their problems and help them find solutions where applicable. Various competitions such as drama, football matches and other sports activities marked the last day of the week.

    The week dedicated to good governance started on 5th December 2011 and was concluded on 30th January 2012 nationwide.
