    Nyamagabe: reviewing performing contracts on the National level proceeds

    Nyamagabe district has recently started a program of evaluating performing contracts on the national level where a team made up of representatives from different ministries is reviewing the implementation of 48 performing contracts vowed to be implemented by the district.

    The 1st day of this evaluation that will be for 2 days emphasized about reports and the 2nd day will be of visiting the different projects that were implemented in sectors in Nyamagabe district

    Fred Mufulukye a worker in the Ministry of Local Governments (MINALOC) who coordinated this team people who review the implementation of performing contracts also need to see implemented projects but they will not lie if they find something that does not match the report.

    Mufulekye said, “We also want to see projects that were implemented so that we can report to the president of the republic that everything went well but we cannot report differently from what we find. We tell the truth the way it is found.”

    Sectors that are being reviewed in Nyamagabe district are those with projects that were to implemented in them in the economic year 2011-2012 of which 48 performing contracts were vowed to be implemented among those 25 are about economy.
