    Rwandans’ unity should be the pillar of development- Rusizi Mayor

    Leaders of Rusizi district

    On 1st July 2012, residents of Kirehe together with their leaders gathered to celebrate 50 years of Independence and 18 years of Liberation.

    Kirehe district Mayor Protais Murayire urged residents of Kirehe to continue join hands in up lifting their incomes since freedom, security and enough support to accord them what it takes is currently being offered by the government.

    “Our government has tirelessly provided security for both our lives and property thus we need to work hard and develop our economies.” Said the Mayor

    “There is a need for all Rwandan children to attend school; the government has set up a number of facilities to let all children have access to education.” Explained the Rusizi Boss

    Kirehe and Ngoma district Army chief requested the residents to enjoy the current liberty and urging them to continue to work hard towards developing their country.

    The ceremony was attended by people from all corners including students, military, health workers, teachers, business people and many more.
