Rusizi district authorities have committed themselves to find remedies of the residents’ problems that have not been solved at sector level.
It is said that problems that come to district level are beyond the sectors capacity in solving problems.
Marcel Habyarimana, Mayor in charge of economic development in Rusizi district asserts they are ready to solve these pending problems and advocate in higher authorities in case some problems are beyond their capacity.
Some of the problems beyond the sector capacity are 50 people that worked for PAREF project but never got paid and family conflicts.
Another problem concerns the widows cooperative members in Mururu sector where Angel Mukankusi, a stake holder did not pay their 3months salary for cleaning but disappeared.
On this issue, Mayor Marcel Habyarimana said the district administration will pay the widows as they follow up on the stake holder.
