    Karongi: Youth in Ingando thanked for their great works

    230youth girls and boys from different sectors of Karongi district, in Ingando (youth camp) that started on 20th November 2011 and ended on 11th December 2011, did remarkable works in Rubengera and are very much thanked by the residents.

    Among the things done by youth in three weeks time are, clearing the murram roads and mining stones to be used in the construction of the village all worth7.500.000 Million Rwf.

    Kayumba Bernard, Mayor of Karongi district says that the purpose of Ingando (youth camp) aims at helping youth in job creation.

    “Youth was most used in non constructive works especially during genocide, now they must be used in building a new Rwanda” adds Bernard.

    Some youth in the camp say that they are happy for the work they have done because developing the district of your origin not comparable.

    Manirarora Annoncée, Karongi youth camp leader says that Ingando is of great importance to the youth because it was intended to conserve the environment which was achieved.
