    Musanze: Senate Staff urged to be exemplary

    The Vice President of the Rwandan Senate         has urged the senate staff to maintain their spirit of hard work and always strive to be exemplary. Hon. Jeanne d’Arc Gakuba delivered the message at the closure of a three day retreat meant for all staff members of the upper chamber of Parliament.

    According to the Clerk of the Senate Cyitatire Sosthene, the retreat was organized to enable staff members of the senate have the same understanding about their responsibilities and the mission of the senate in general.

    While concluding the retreat, the Senate Vice President appealed to the senate staff to be characterized by mutual understanding to steer them to realisation of goals they undertaken. She commended the senate staff for the commitment and courage illustrated and coming up with resolutions aimed at delivering efficiently.

    The Senate Vice President said that the senate should serve as a model to other government institutions, promising support from the Bureau of the Senate.

    On their part, Retreat participants, said that they have benefited a lot from the retreat, saying that they learnt what the senate is, what it has accomplished, and what is demanding of them.

    Senate staff came up with many resolutions and expressed their determination of being “One Senate, One People, and One Purpose”.
