Rwanda : Good governance leaders tour in Rulindo district
A team of districts authorities in charge of good governance have commended the good practises of leadership based on team work, in Rulindo district.
The team, made up of all 30 district representatives, was on a study tour in Rulindo district this February 2012 in which they were challenged by the system of leadership and governance in the district.
“I would wish to come back to Rulindo district so that I can learn more on their good governance programs based on commitment and team workâ€, said John Bosco Byaruhanga, the in charge of governance in Rwamagana district.
Josephine Uwimana, of Rwanda Association of Local Government Authorities (RALGA) in Kigali city said the study tour for governance leaders in Rulindo district is under their usual program of visiting district with good governance practises so they can borrow a leaf from them.
Rulindo district have always proved to be a definition of good governance and have won a national award of achieving the set district development goals of 2010-2011. The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) also rewarded the district for its good working relationship with investors.
