Motor cyclists and air time (telephone credits) vendors who work closely to where a bomb blast occurred held a meeting with the authorities whereby they were told to always be security conscious and not to cause a lot of chaos which would attract hooligans to their work place.
Jean Marie Nizeyimana an air time vendor at the area where the bomb blasted told us that he is no longer scared like in the past few days.
“We used to run from any loud sound even that of a car or bicycle tyre blast  a few days after the bomb blast but we are now comforted with the security operations and are sure that it is very tight now for hooligans to attack usâ€, he  remarked.
Air time vendors and passersby were instructed that a group of three or more people is not allowed to stand at that place during the evening time.
Air time vendors who make part of most groups in the area should also be scattered to reasonable distances as a way of avoiding crowded groups that can be easily targeted by hooligans.
