    Bugesera youth urged

Youth in Nyamata sector, Bugesera district have been asked to advise their colleagues on the need to stop drug abuse, especially during their daily encounters.

Francis Kaboneka, a Member of Parliament (MP) told the Bugesera youth gathering that approach can enable youths to support others in the fight against drugs.

Kaboneka argued that youths spend much of their time together and they can listen to each other on a friendly basis and use the time to impact on lives of those on drugs. “It is easy for drug addicts to take their fellow friends advice to stop using drugs more than us whom they take as just political propagandists” MP Kaboneka said

Jean Pierre Habimana, a youth representative in Musenyi sector said they are going to fight drug abuse among the youth by reporting cases of drug abuse on time and do extensive sensitization to people they live with on the negative effects of drug abuse.
