The mayor of Nyamagabe district Philbert Mugisha has revealed that the problem of insecurity in the sectors of Gatare, Mushubi and Musebeta is solved, as it was leant on his recent visit to the area.

The mayor said a list of those who cause threats to security have been put out so that they can always be closely monitored.

He was accompanied with the assistant commission of Rwandan police in a security meeting with the people in the sectors of Gatare, Mushubi and Musebeya.

The Mayor explained that a list of naughty people in all sectors was produced so that such people can always be closely monitored and be taught so they can learn how to behave or else be handled with the strong arm of the law.

“ We have put out a list  of people who normally break the laws before the public so they can behave as we have taught some before but those who will fail to change will be handled over to the law”, he remarked. He again requested residents to participate in ensuring security prevails in their areas of residence.

The assistant commissioner of police Emmanuel Butera asked people of Nyamagabe to closely work with police officers in trucking down hooligans if tight security is to prevail in the district.
