    Leaders should make productive projects for their people

     Districts mayors in Northern Province of Rwanda are being asked to make productive projects that will lead society to development.

    This was said on the 1stMarch2012 during a meeting about the development of the province by Thomas Mazuru from the Ministry of Economic Planning (MINECOFIN).

    Districts were informed that among the projects to be financed in a district; every district will get more than one billion francs.  District mayors have also told to always make projects that promote farming, projects that help people to sell their produce in other countries and many others.

    Aimé Bosenibamwe the governor of Northern Province said that this meeting was important because it made districts mayors realize what kind of projects that should be made to be financed.

    Districts mayors gave them themselves a period of one week to choose the kind of projects that will develop their people and that will be financed and be worked upon immediately.

    Different leaders in Northern Province attended this meeting, leaders of Rwanda Local Development Support Funds (RLDSF) and workers of Ministry of Economic planning (MINECOFIN).
