Rwanda | Nyanza: Private sector in partnership with vocational institutes
 Private sector federation has promised to help vocational institutions in the southern province of Rwanda to access qualified and well trained teachers.

The commitment was made clear during the meeting that was held at Kavumu vocational Institute at the end of February 2012, when the chairperson of an association for vocational institutions in the southern province of Rwanda Gideon Rudahunga said the private sector accessing them well qualified teachers will enable them provide quality educational to students by equipping them with tangible skills that will make them competitive on the job markets.

In order to achieve their goals, the association of vocational institutions in the southern province of Rwanda introduced a new teaching curriculum that is in line with what is required at the job market.
The private sector federation will also train people working with the vocational institutions in the southern province of Rwanda to help them improve their skills which will also improve on the services they offer.
The governor of the southern province of Rwanda Munyentwari Alphonse was grateful about the partnership between vocational institutions and the private sector federation.
“The private sector federation know to select the right quality of workers and that is the reason to why they are going recruit students who will be finishing from these vocational institutions since they are well trustedâ€, Munyentwari revealed.
The representative from the private sector in Nyaruguru district Ntihinyurwa Charles acknowledged the partnership between the private sector and the association of vocational institutions in the southern province of Rwanda because it will up lift the services offered by those institutions. Â
