    Nyamasheke: Partnership with police is crucial

    The Rwanda National Police (RNP) have recently expanded operations in preparing people to keep security and developing the country, according to a partnership signed with five districts.

    Districts involved in the agreement were reported to be Burera, Gatsibo, Kicukiro, Nyamasheke, Nyarugenge and Kigali city.

    This is as Jean Baptiste Habyarimana the advisor and the mayor of Nyamasheke district announced to the administrative committee of this district, this partnership will be of much importance to the district towards development.

    Habyarimana said that the police will work with residents to keep their security, protect the environment, to fight against poverty since this district comes 2nd in all districts in Rwanda with people under the line of poverty cycle and this partnership will enhance the operations of police force.

    Habyarimana said that the fact that the Rwanda National Police expanded its operations in districts is a result of their last visit to the Rwanda National Police on the 23rd.Dec.2011 where police promised them cooperation and support in their programs for development.
