    Rwanda sends condolences to Malawi as Bingu wa Mutharika laid to rest

    Rwanda Rwanda sends condolences

    The government of Rwanda has sent sincere condolences to Malawi, following the death of President Bingwa wa Mutharika who has just been buried; Rwandan Foreign Minister Louise Mushikiwabo represented the country.

    The late President of Malawi died of Heart attack on 5th April 2012, and was buried on Monday, 23 April 2012, whereas Rwandan Minister for Foreign Affairs, Government Spokesperson; Honourable Louise Mushikiwabo, attended the Burial ceremonies in Blantyre City-Malawi on behalf of President of Rwanda, H.E. Paul Kagame.

    The condolence message to the Government and people of Malawi read:  “The government and people of Rwanda Stand in solidarity with the people of Malawi, despite this untimely loss, we hope that People of Malawi will no doubt have strength to move on”

    These dignified and honorable state funeral are also attended by different dignities  including the President of Zambia, Zimbabwe,   Namibia, Kenya , Mozambique, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe; the Vice president of South Africa and Zambia; the Deputy Prime Minister of Swaziland; the Chairperson of African Union and the Speaker of  Assembly of Angola.
