    Nyamasheke: Youth urged to protect life


    Youth in Nyamasheke District have been warned as to what should be done during decision making in life, a statement made this April2012 during a concert in Nyamasheke Youth Friendly centre.

     The fare well Vacancy’ concert, brought together various youths including students and those who do not go to school.

    The theme of the day called upon all youth to be safe and fight against AIDS and drugs for tomorrow.

    In the discussions that were given, Mrs. Noëlla Nyirahabimana the in charge of youth, culture, sports and entertainment, who also represented the administration of Nyamasheke district reminded the them that they are the strength for the country presently and the future.

    She said that they should be careful and take care of their lives and not to take drugs and other bad behaviours that can lead them to AIDS scourge.

     About 850 youth who had attended this concert were promised the participation and support of the district administration in everything that would develop Rwandans.
