Kayonza: Administration praised for solving residents’ problems

Rwanda | Kayonza AdministrationThe workers from the president’s office have praised the administration of Kayonza district for the way they solved the problems of the local people.

This was said during the meeting that brought together to representatives from the president’s office, the administration of Kayonza district, executive secretaries of all sectors in Kayonza district and all local leaders on the 11th.May.2012.

There were different problems residents of Kayonza district presented to the office of the president of Rwanda H.E Paul Kagame saying they had failed to be solved. A report of these problems was given to the district administration and they were asked to solve these problems.

On the 11th.May.2012, 2 representatives from the president’s office came to see if these problems were solved and found most of them had been solved and others were on the way of being solved and others were sent to the courts where they will be solved.

The representatives from the president’s office exalted the administration for the way they solved these problems and argued them to keep solving people’s problems the same way they solved these problems and that solving people’s problems is a sure way to attain development.

“You have almost solved all problems and the remai9ning are at least solved 95percent of them and we want you to solve them and give us a report on how you solved them in a very near future.” They said.

Among the problems that were not solved include that of Augustin Habiyakare a resident of Nyamirama sector who got accidents twice with the vehicle and was promised a house to be built for him since 2005 and in 2009 he presented his problem to the president office after losing hope of ever getting that promised house. This house is now built and only lacks some furnishings and he is already living in it.

These representatives assured people that in case of unsolved problems, they should always feel free to take their problems to the president’s office where they will be followed up till they are fully solved.

John Mugabo the mayor of Kayonza district said that in case some problems are presented to the president’s office, they should be told about it so as to make the follow up about it and solve it.
