    rwanda districts

The governor of the Northern Province of Rwanda Aime Bosenibamwe said, all Rwandans in the Northern Province will know how to read and write by June this year.

This was said recently 2012 during the education meeting in the Northern Province when Bosenibamwe said that they have invested a lot of energy in fighting against illiteracy among the people.

“We decided that by 30th.June.2012, all illiterate people in the Northern Province will have completed classes for reading and writing and will be given certificates and others will be attending these classes.”

He went on to explain that this program concerns only the old but with some strength to work as it doesn’t concern the very old as they have their way of instruction.

After those who are learning reading and writing have finished and got their certificates, they will be put into cooperatives so as to create their jobs depending on the trainings they got.

In order to make sure that the trained people don’t forget what they were taught, every sector will open up a library so that people can use to and teach themselves much more by reading and writing so as not to forget.
