Nyamasheke: Residents asked to avoid family conflicts
During the special community work of the 16th.May.2012 that meant to fight and prevent disasters, Rwanda National Police force has asked the residents of Nyamasheke district to avoid family conflicts.
According to the Western Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Jean Baptiste Seminega parents should always be patient with each other and in case of problems, they should let the law help solve them instead of killing each other since it is not solution to their problems and it is the worst inheritance parents can give to their children.
PPC Seminega also talked about the problem of polygamy where he asked men what they think about when they marry many wives and produce many children while they are well aware of the country’s economy and their financial situations.
He asked parents to take care of their children every day as being far from them affects them in physical and emotional development while citing a child who was recently fed on faeces in Rubavu district.
PPC Seminega said, “Produce but take time to fulfil your responsibilities as parentsâ€. He again asked parents to give their children education that will make them people that will build their country in future.
