Nyamasheke: District, Cyangugu Catholic Diocese joins for development

As a way of strengthening their relationship, Nyamasheke district workers and Cyangugu Catholic Diocese recently joined hand for Rwanda’s social development.
After the game, vice mayor for social affairs in Nyamasheke Catherine Gatete appreciated the partnership that exists between the district and catholic churches especially Cyangugu Diocese.
The purpose of the match was between the two parties was to have detailed discussions on residents’ social being since the Diocese does participate in social affairs through Caritas.
Gatete thanked Cyangugu catholic diocese for their support in uplifting residents’ standards of living and requested that partnership continue to flourish.
On the side of Cyangugu, Father Valens Niragire head of caritas thanked Nyamasheke district for the get together and idea sharing invitation; an act he said will be returned.
Father Niragire emphasized that brotherhood and supporting each other is needed and that it should go on for the better fulfillment of everybody’s duties.
District workers in Nyamasheke scored Cyangugu Diocese six goals to one.
