Nyamagabe: Intore to uphold country’s security

    Intore- Nyamagabe district

According to the youth performance contracts signed before Nyamagabe district residents on 14th December 2011, Intore members vowed to fully implement and deliver the performance contract agenda more especially in contributing towards the country’s security.

They promised to ensure the country’s security by taking part in night patrols twice a month. Other elements entailed in their performance contracts include: fighting corruption, respecting human rights, educating and sensitizing the local population to join communal health insurance scheme commonly known as Mituelle de Sante and mobilizing the population about the advantages of family planning.

Muberwa Denis Paterne a youth participant says much emphasis will be put on sensitizing residents on the importance of “Umurenge sacco” and saving schemes, writing project proposals that generate income, and sensitizing them to report criminal cases.

Vice President of ITORERO at national level Mr. NTIDENDEREZA William asked the youth to implement their performance contracts and strive to remain good examples. He reminded them that Intore should always be “I know it, I do it, and I fight for it”.
