    Kirehe- East African Community benefits explained to Rwandans.

    KireheDist The representative of the Ministry for East African countries (MINEAC) had a trip to Kirehe district recently where they discussed with some of the workers on the touristic attractions of Rwanda.

    Protais Murayire the mayor of Kirehe district told those who had attended the meeting that ever since Rwanda joined East African community, Kirehe district has profited from it as the program of trading within these countries have increased and he gave an example of a market in Gahara sector that is attended by Burundians and the residents of Kirehe district.

    In a way of promoting good relationship, the Mayor said that Kirehe district with Ngara and Karagwe Districts of Tanzania signed their partnership and support.

    Mrs. Annett Mukayiranga a worker in MINEAC said that different levels of agriculture, infrastructure, IT, education and others should have something to do with MINEAC so that its advantages and benefits are known to all people.

    People who had attended this meeting said they are going to work hard and increase the production especially of maize by putting their factories that process them and that they will teach the local population about the agreement of East African countries and what it entails through different meetings and through media.
