THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION CAN’T REACH ITS OBJECTIVES WITHOUT TRAINING PEOPLE.

The National Electoral Commission (NEC) can’t reach its objectives without training people. This was said in the 1 day youth training about democracy and good governance on 1st.Dec that was prepared by the Electoral commission.
Irambona Liberatha, the coordinator of Electoral Commission is important to train people so as to reach its objectives. She said, “The electoral commission has a responsibility of preparing and coordinating elections and it can’t do that without preparing those who will help it.â€
She also asked youth to respect their leaders and to work very hard. She said, “You’re the leaders of tomorrow, so you have to learn to give yourselves dignity and those you’ll lead. Your role is important in everything that happens in this country.
The chairperson of the district youth council believes that youth leaders fully understand what democracy is, therefore, they will fulfill their responsibilities by honoring their fellow youth. Ngarukiyimana Alain attended this training said that he understands democracy and he will teach it to his colleagues.
Akingeneye Aline who also attended this training said that democracy is all about the relationship between the leader and his subjects so as to develop the country. She is going to sensitize her friends to follow government programs so as to facilitate the leaders to fulfill their responsibilities. This 1 day training was attended by 100 youth leaders of all sectors in Gakenke district.
