Patients’ right to treatment must be respected-Nyabihu Vice-Mayor
In a meeting with health workers of Nyabihu district, the Vice Mayor in charge of social affairs pointed out a number of key facts that need to be respected while serving patients.
While officiating the one day seminar at APALPE Institute in Mukamira Sector, the district boss instructed the health workers to reduce red tape while serving patients.
This one day seminar that took place on 11th April 2012 focused mostly on patients with Mituelle health insurance.
“There has to be a sound and efficient functioning customer care system teamed with perfect health practitioners in every sector of health service provision.†Said the Vice Mayor.
Previously a patient with Mituelle Insurance would have to go through a number of procedures before receiving treatment which would delay the patient’s time before treatment.
